Techy-ME?? NAH! :)

I was about to write a decent blog but things just started to come up and by the time I'm really ready to write, I lost every little thought I have to write about. It's crazy. I know I'm not supposed to be blogging while working but my mind works best when I'm working and when work stimulates my brain cells to think, I'm confident enough to write and I grab the opportunity and just blog-away,but then again, Epic Fail!

For now, I'll just tell you how I'm enjoying technology. I mean, about almost a year ago, I honestly intended to shut myself out of technology because I don't want to be bothered and hooked by it. Knowing myself too well that if I let myself be absorbed with new gadgets and stuff about technology, I'd go crazy and do nothing but that. So I let myself away from new hich-tech phones and gadgets and just made myself contented with my sweet and simple phone that can call and text and I was just happy about my Ipod nano with my favorite music on it, I was all set until about a few weeks ago when my husband convinced me to try out some new cell phone and discover the Ipod-touch. I was amazed. Talk about being such a looser at that point. Oh well, never too late to try out something new and I'm so right when I say that I'll get hooked to it.Anyway, I got this cool phone, nope, not the Iphone4 which everyone's talking about. I got myself a Nokia phone,a C6-00 model. It was just right for me. It's like it's meant to be mine, hehe. Okay, what I love about it is that it's dual cam features, for a person who loves to take pictures and loves her picture taken, it was just what I need. With it's 5megapixel main camera, I'm solved. Exactly what I need because I already have a 12megapixel digicam so having a phone with 5megapixelled cam is just a delight for me.Okay, I'm shallow like that so don't mock me! Enough of being defensive about my lack of technology knowledge but I guess this is how you become when you lost touch with technology for a year. Anyways, another thing I love about my new phone is that it has a "Qwerty Pad" which allows me to type messages on a keypad that's like a keyboard especially when I'm having a hard time with the touch screen feature. My fat fingers' taking the best of me when I'm typing via touchscreen so I'm not really a fan of it. Also, aside from it being a WiFi enabled phone, I love the fact that it has WLAN settings that lets me go onlilne hassle-free, plus, I love Globe and I'm on prepaid. I have internet at home with landline so I don't really need to use my phone for internet all the time and Globe has promos that lets you use the internet for the lowest price ever! So cheap! :) The phone also has GPS,bluetooth, media players and other cool stuffs that I'm still getting myself familiar with. I went online and found the full specs; I'll post it below, maybe, you'll like it too.

Now, about this cool thing called Ipod-touch. Not really a big Apple fan but when I got myself an Ipod Nano classic last christmas with 160GB memory storage, I changed my mind. I was so happy with it as I prefer music more than games and application but then my husband fussed about buying an Ipod-touch so we bought one. We bought the Ipod-Touch 4thgen with 8GB memory. What I really liked about it is that it's dual-cam features, again, I'm a photo-addict so a gadget has to have a camera or I won't bother with it. I also liked the fact that the touch was so easy and that the settings is so easy to manage contrary to what I thought it would be and how it would literally damage my brain because it was too techy for my taste but I'm happy that I was wrong, it's really easy to use, otherwise, I'd feel sorry we bought it. It's also Wi-Fi and a friend told me that it's almost like an Iphone already and that makes it cool. We downloaded some cool apaplications and so far, I'm addicted to it. My husband's the one who's using my Nano for now. I asked him to let me use the touch for a while so I can get the feel of it. Not sure if I'd ever let him touch it again though.hehe.

So there, I'm having a blast with technology now a days and it's what's keeping me busy, well, aside from daily stuffs, you know, I'm a wife and a mother of two so I got a handful of stuffs to do everyday. :)

To finish this long post, here's what lesson I learned from it all; it's never too late for change and risking is really a part of life. I know it's just gadgets but when you think about it, it applies to life as well. You know, you get the point right? Alright then, as promised, the specs of my new phone; as if most of you don't know yet but here it is, just proud I took the plunge. :)

All Aboard!

Finally after a gazillion year, I'm blogging here again...I just wanted to tell you about how our year end party went..Read on.. ;)

Last December 18, our company held our year end party at Chef and Brewer Restobar in Pasig. The theme of the party was "All Aboard!" since we got acquired by another "Asian" company and everyone got all aboard. Needless to say, the party has a Nautical inspired theme. Everyone was all 'stripey' and 'sailorey'..is there even such a word as 'sailorey'?...not sure though but that's how I want to describe it. Anyway, the party's registration started at 6pm and being the lazy people that me and my friends were; we came in late. Too late for the registration, so major 'FAIL' in being included at the raffle but that's okay, at least we made it at the party.

I met with Cris,Jocee and Rj at Megamall at around 8 or 830pm. The girls had their fair share of 'lateness' so to speak. I was late too since Paul got home at 6pm and I didn't have much time to go to the salon and get my hair done so I asked my cousin to do my hair as I did my nails, multi-tasking at it's finest. Anyway, I just wanted to share what I wore that night; here's that cliche' pic infront of the tarpaulin..hehehe;
So since it's a 'Nautical' theme, we had to wear a stripe, it's like a must have. I didn't want to exaggerate it so when Paul and I went to Divi 2weeks before the party I knew what to buy. Here's a breakdown:

Hair by my cousin, had it curled at the edge
Blue and white stripes long top/dress from DIVI
Black Jeggings also from DIVI
Black low-cut Chuck Taylor's from a thrift shop (yes!great find, indeed!last minute buy)
Long necklace with a sailor's clock from Greeghills (had this necklace since last year)
Cute black/gray tote bag from a thirft shop (last minute buy)
Nude make-up; foundation from my cousin and some not-so-obvious blush-on from Cris
Pretty in Pink lipgloss from Avon

So there you have it..and now..a picture with some of the girls and gals of Nidec-CS:

It was a fun night...see yah next year peeps.. ;)

Now I'm off to bed. Happy holidays everyone. Enjoy your xmas day..Be safe and be kind to people not just for today but for always.

Until next blog..

Got Inked!

Being the procrastinator that I am, after I set up this blog site, here I am writing my second blog after I can't even remember when.hehe. Anyways, I just wanted to share a couple of things that happened to me these past few weeks. First off, I'm really excited, well, actually, not really that excited anymore as the first few days when I got inked! Yes, you read it right, I got my very first set of tattoos. Take note, not just one tattoo but tattoosssss..hehehe. I've always wanted to get a tattoo since I was in HS and in my college years when rock bands and punk princess was so IN. So after much thought and an approval from my other half, finally, last November 28 at home, I made this biggest decision of my entire life..well, not really. Yes I finally got inked. I got three tattoos; two on one arm and one on the other. Here's a pic of it:

If you ask if it hurt? Well, you're darn right it did!..It hurt like hell but after it was done, I felt..great?- understatement! It felt like I can conquer the world and that I am superwoman.Am I going to do it again?--We'll see.. That's all for now.. :)

Until my next blog. You go woman!!! :)

Getting to know me...

I was never the typical type of person. I always try to be who I am and what I want to be. In everything I do, I always make it a point that I am never on the mainstream of things. I want to be unique. I want to be myself, thus, this blog site came to life. To celebrate individuality, uniqueness and of course,womanhood/girl power! I want to share to any soon-to-be-interested-readers on what my opinion is about love, life, fashion, career, politics and everything in between.

I wanted to start this blog by writing an introduction about myself but I find it quite boring. You will get to know me as we go on. For starters, I am never the type to beg for people's attention, I want a low profile image of me doing great things at my own little ways. I'm very sensitive to criticism so if you happen to stumble upon my blog and you want to give suggestions and your own opinion, you're always welcome to do so but then again, ugly and mean comments will be deleted. This blog site is a site I dedicate to my very opinionated mind and this serves as an outlet for me to voice it all out. If you don't like what you're reading, you can create your own blog and voice it out there. That's how it is..my blog, my rules! :)

Tatah!
