I was about to write a decent blog but things just started to come up and by the time I'm really ready to write, I lost every little thought I have to write about. It's crazy. I know I'm not supposed to be blogging while working but my mind works best when I'm working and when work stimulates my brain cells to think, I'm confident enough to write and I grab the opportunity and just blog-away,but then again, Epic Fail!
For now, I'll just tell you how I'm enjoying technology. I mean, about almost a year ago, I honestly intended to shut myself out of technology because I don't want to be bothered and hooked by it. Knowing myself too well that if I let myself be absorbed with new gadgets and stuff about technology, I'd go crazy and do nothing but that. So I let myself away from new hich-tech phones and gadgets and just made myself contented with my sweet and simple phone that can call and text and I was just happy about my Ipod nano with my favorite music on it, I was all set until about a few weeks ago when my husband convinced me to try out some new cell phone and discover the Ipod-touch. I was amazed. Talk about being such a looser at that point. Oh well, never too late to try out something new and I'm so right when I say that I'll get hooked to it.Anyway, I got this cool phone, nope, not the Iphone4 which everyone's talking about. I got myself a Nokia phone,a C6-00 model. It was just right for me. It's like it's meant to be mine, hehe. Okay, what I love about it is that it's dual cam features, for a person who loves to take pictures and loves her picture taken, it was just what I need. With it's 5megapixel main camera, I'm solved. Exactly what I need because I already have a 12megapixel digicam so having a phone with 5megapixelled cam is just a delight for me.Okay, I'm shallow like that so don't mock me! Enough of being defensive about my lack of technology knowledge but I guess this is how you become when you lost touch with technology for a year. Anyways, another thing I love about my new phone is that it has a "Qwerty Pad" which allows me to type messages on a keypad that's like a keyboard especially when I'm having a hard time with the touch screen feature. My fat fingers' taking the best of me when I'm typing via touchscreen so I'm not really a fan of it. Also, aside from it being a WiFi enabled phone, I love the fact that it has WLAN settings that lets me go onlilne hassle-free, plus, I love Globe and I'm on prepaid. I have internet at home with landline so I don't really need to use my phone for internet all the time and Globe has promos that lets you use the internet for the lowest price ever! So cheap! :) The phone also has GPS,bluetooth, media players and other cool stuffs that I'm still getting myself familiar with. I went online and found the full specs; I'll post it below, maybe, you'll like it too.
Now, about this cool thing called Ipod-touch. Not really a big Apple fan but when I got myself an Ipod Nano classic last christmas with 160GB memory storage, I changed my mind. I was so happy with it as I prefer music more than games and application but then my husband fussed about buying an Ipod-touch so we bought one. We bought the Ipod-Touch 4thgen with 8GB memory. What I really liked about it is that it's dual-cam features, again, I'm a photo-addict so a gadget has to have a camera or I won't bother with it. I also liked the fact that the touch was so easy and that the settings is so easy to manage contrary to what I thought it would be and how it would literally damage my brain because it was too techy for my taste but I'm happy that I was wrong, it's really easy to use, otherwise, I'd feel sorry we bought it. It's also Wi-Fi and a friend told me that it's almost like an Iphone already and that makes it cool. We downloaded some cool apaplications and so far, I'm addicted to it. My husband's the one who's using my Nano for now. I asked him to let me use the touch for a while so I can get the feel of it. Not sure if I'd ever let him touch it again though.hehe.
So there, I'm having a blast with technology now a days and it's what's keeping me busy, well, aside from daily stuffs, you know, I'm a wife and a mother of two so I got a handful of stuffs to do everyday. :)
To finish this long post, here's what lesson I learned from it all; it's never too late for change and risking is really a part of life. I know it's just gadgets but when you think about it, it applies to life as well. You know, you get the point right? Alright then, as promised, the specs of my new phone; as if most of you don't know yet but here it is, just proud I took the plunge. :)
There you have it.. :)
Until my next blog people!
XOXO
