All Aboard!

Finally after a gazillion year, I'm blogging here again...I just wanted to tell you about how our year end party went..Read on.. ;)

Last December 18, our company held our year end party at Chef and Brewer Restobar in Pasig. The theme of the party was "All Aboard!" since we got acquired by another "Asian" company and everyone got all aboard. Needless to say, the party has a Nautical inspired theme. Everyone was all 'stripey' and 'sailorey'..is there even such a word as 'sailorey'?...not sure though but that's how I want to describe it. Anyway, the party's registration started at 6pm and being the lazy people that me and my friends were; we came in late. Too late for the registration, so major 'FAIL' in being included at the raffle but that's okay, at least we made it at the party.

I met with Cris,Jocee and Rj at Megamall at around 8 or 830pm. The girls had their fair share of 'lateness' so to speak. I was late too since Paul got home at 6pm and I didn't have much time to go to the salon and get my hair done so I asked my cousin to do my hair as I did my nails, multi-tasking at it's finest. Anyway, I just wanted to share what I wore that night; here's that cliche' pic infront of the tarpaulin..hehehe;

So since it's a 'Nautical' theme, we had to wear a stripe, it's like a must have. I didn't want to exaggerate it so when Paul and I went to Divi 2weeks before the party I knew what to buy. Here's a breakdown:

Hair by my cousin, had it curled at the edge
Blue and white stripes long top/dress from DIVI
Black Jeggings also from DIVI
Black low-cut Chuck Taylor's from a thrift shop (yes!great find, indeed!last minute buy)
Long necklace with a sailor's clock from Greeghills (had this necklace since last year)
Cute black/gray tote bag from a thirft shop (last minute buy)
Nude make-up; foundation from my cousin and some not-so-obvious blush-on from Cris
Pretty in Pink lipgloss from Avon
